About the event
The Breakthrough Theatre Company will present a Playwrighting and Directing Camp from July 10-14, 2023.
In this camp, students will be placed into teams to brainstorm ideas and write a 10-15 minute play. One member of the team will then become the director, and the other students will be the actors. The first hour of camp will be theater and improv games. This will happen every day on Monday through Thursday. On Friday, the students will decide which plays to perform for family and friends.
This camp is for ages 7-17.
No experience necessary. All are welcome.
*There will be a free student showcase on Friday, July 14, at 12:30 p.m.
Camp is held Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Camp Cost: $100.00
Students will receive a drink and snack each day. They may bring food from home and there will also be items at the theater for sale.
